I remember years ago when as a young entrepreneur fate put Jen head to head negotiating with Carl Icahn. I was so impressed that she actually made a profit on that deal! Jen moves unmovable mountains and makes seemingly impossible things happen with her uniquely rare combination of chutzpah, determination, analytical skills, confidence, ability to think way outside the box and intoxicating charm. Her ESP and EQ when it comes to reading people, the markets and macro economic trends is unparallel. In May of 2007 I attended a lunch and she outlined the outstanding derivative exposure of all the big banks. She had a strong argument for a large 1929 style meltdown she expected shortly. It was the first any of the prominent businessmen in the room had heard this argument. She had done her homework. She was extremely bullish on gold at 650 an ounce, predicting it would go well over a thousand dollars. It wasn’t the first time. Over the years on a number of occasions I’d personally heard, read, benefited and been amazed at Jen’s extraordinary gift to evaluate & forecast market fluctuations.
